 Description of axial fan LE304

The axial fan LE304 is an efficient running fan with a volume flow of 1900 m³/h and a nominal speed of 1400 rpm. The diameter is 300 mm and the voltage of the AC motor is 230 volts.

The fan can be used flexibly: It can be used to cool machines, or to ventilate offices or to cool smaller rooms with generators. The other variant of the built-in fans

In addition, the AC fans can be controlled by temperature controllers TR46 from our offer.

Air quality controllers can also be used for control. They are often used in conjunction with the fans in offices, because they make the air more pleasant and fresh. Stable buildings are also a popular application.

Thermal contacts (bimetal switches) are often additionally installed in fans when they are used in high temperatures. They can prevent damage to motor.

In addition to the standard AC motor voltage of 230 volts and 50 hertz, special voltages of 500 volts and 50 hertz are available on request for the three-phase fans. Of course, for the USA and Canada, voltages of 480 volts and 575 volts and 60 hertz respectively can be produced.

Speed controllers in transformer design are particularly suitable for controlling the fans easily, quickly and conveniently over the entire speed range.

AC fans such as the LE304 can also be controlled by these speed controllers. Besides the temperature controllers and air quality controllers, CO2 controllers can also be used for the control.

Frequency converters can control the three-phase fans, an all-pole sinusoidal filter must be integrated between the fan and the motor as a support for some frequency converters (DIN-IEC/TS 60034-17).

Stainless steel variants of the LE304 axial fan

V2A stainless steel fans (material number 1.4301 or AISI 304 or X5CrNi189) can be supplied especially for the food industry, fans in special stainless steel V4A (material number 1.4571 or AISI 316 or X10CrNiMoTil810) are preferable in salty air.

The cast aluminum from which the motors are made can be left raw or painted with food color if required. Upon request and regular acceptance, a product made of aluminum material approved for the food industry is also possible.

Salt water-resistant paint can be used for offshore applications for painting.

Material of axial fan LE304

Glass fiber reinforced plastic is standard material used in the production of axial impellers. Aluminum impellers are also available for high operating temperatures.

Rectangular plate fan designs are only available from a minimum order quantity and on request for cost reasons.

The standard protection class IP44 can also be extended to IP54 or IP56.

The flexible design allows a free choice of air direction when ordering.

after ordering, the air direction can still be reversed. However, for optimum efficiency, the impeller blades are profiled, which is why there is a 15% loss in air performance when the air direction is reversed.
No standard motors are used for the axial fans; each motor is specially developed by Kaiser Ventilatorenbau and adapted to the axial fan. According to DIN EN 60085, they carry thermal protection class F or H.
Type tests regarding bearing and installation temperature, salt water tests of stainless steel temperatures in the offshore area and IPx6 tests of humidity class can be requested and are permanently available.
Due to the energy-efficient in-house design of Kaiser Ventilatorenbau, the motors comply with the Ecodesign Directive ERP2015 (ErP Directive 2009/125/EC EU Regulation No. 327/2011) and carry the CE mark.
Weather protection dampers and blow-out protection grilles can help to comply with the Machinery Directive and are available in the offer catalog.
