Description of the G series axial fans (blowers).
The axial fans of the series G extend the range of applications of the K and M series. The G series ventilators are designed for high pressure at high volume flows.
Range of application of the axial fans
The blowers are intended for use in refrigeration, ventilation systems, large heat exchangers and ventilation systems. They are also intended for separate cooling of motors in very large industrial fans, as well as for use in gearbox cooling and container cooling.
Technical explanation of axial fans
The axial fans are controllable over the entire speed range, i.e. the operating point of the pressure-flow curve can be continuously configured via the speed.
The nominal diameters of the G series axial fans are:
- Diameter 350mm,
- diameter 400mm
- diameter 450mm.
- Diameter 500mm.
- Diameter 600mm and 630mm are in planning and soon ready.
This covers a wide range of volume flows from 0 m³/h to 12000 m³/h.
Speed controller to the axial fans
Speed controllers 230V (alternating current) and speed controllers 400V (three-phase current) are available for control.
Devices in the form of temperature controllers and CO2 controllers, air quality controllers are available for the control of the fans. The fans can also be controlled with frequency converters in compliance with DIN-IEC/TS 60034.
Technical presentation of axial fans
The protection class of the fans is IP 44 as standard, the protection classes IP 54 up to IP 66 are available.
The allowed temperature range for storage and transport is -40°C to. +60° C. This makes the axial fans functional for use in ventilation and refrigeration applications.
The operation of the fans is designed according to the continuous duty class S1.
The application range of the voltages is from 230 volts (alternating current) to 400 volts three-phase current. Special voltages of 480Volt, 60Hz (voltage USA) and 575Volt, 60Hz (voltage Canada) for the North American market and also the voltage for Mexico, are available from us.
Ecodesign Directive ERP 2015
Fans of the series G are energy efficient according to the Ecodesign Directive ERP 2015 (ErP Directive 2009/125/EC EU Regulation No. 327/2011).
Stainless steel fans V2A and V4A
The axial fans of G series are available as stainless steel fans in V2A (material number 1.4301 or ANSI 304 or X5CrNi189) for the food industry and in V4A material (material number 1.4571 or ANSI 316 or X10CrNiMoTil810) for salty air as stainless steel fans (offshore).
When placing an order, different air directions and installation types can be ordered to cover all conceivable applications.
In addition to plastic impellers, matching aluminum impellers are also available for purchase for the G series axial fans.
