The axial fans of the M series extend the range of applications of the L and K series even further. The blowers of the M series are designed for pressure with simultaneous high volume flows.
Range of application of the axial fans
The blowers are suitable for use in ventilation, large heat exchangers and refrigeration. The use for gear cooling and container cooling is reasonable. Use on ventilation systems and for separate cooling of motors on very large industrial fans is likely to be successful.
The axial fans are adjustable over the entire speed range, i.e. the volume flow can be continuously configured via the speed.
The nominal diameters of the axial fans of the M series are:
Diameter 350mm, Diameter 400mm and Diameter 450mm.
The nominal speeds are from 1400 rpm. This covers a wide range of volume flow rates from 0 m³/h to 8000 m³/h.
Speed controllers 230V (alternating current) and speed controllers 400V (three-phase current) are available for control.
For the control of the fans, devices in the form of air quality controllers, temperature controllers and CO2 controllers are available. The fans can also be controlled with frequency converters in compliance with DIN-IEC/TS 60034.
The standard protection class of the fans is IP 44, protection classes IP 54 up to IP 66 can be ordered.
The permissible temperature range for storage and transport is -40°C to +60° C. This makes the axial fans suitable for use in ventilation and refrigeration applications.
The operation of the fans is designed according to continuous duty class S1.
The application range of the nominal voltages is from 230 volts alternating current to 400 volts three-phase current and thus broadly covered. Special voltages of 480Volt, 60Hz and 575Volt, 60Hz for the North American market (voltage USA, voltage Canada, Mexico) are also available.
M series fans are energy efficient according to the Ecodesign Directive ERP 2015 (ErP Directive 2009/125/EC EU Regulation No. 327/2011).
The axial fans, blowers of the M series are also available as fans in stainless steel V2A (material number 1.4301 or ANSI 304 or X5CrNi189) for the food industry and as stainless steel fans in V4A (material number 1.4571 or ANSI 316 or X10CrNiMoTil810) for salty air (offshore).
When ordering, different air directions and installation types can be ordered to cover all conceivable applications.
In addition to plastic impellers, matching aluminum impellers are also available for the M series axial fans.
