Description of axial fan LD252

LD252, a fan which is efficiently designed and quiet running, has a volume flow of 2350 m³/h and a nominal speed of 1400 rpm at a voltage of 400 volts and a diameter of 250 mm.

The fan can be used in many different areas, such as cooling of or in machines or for ventilation of offices or cooling of generator rooms. The fan can also be installed in containers as a built-in fan with a stable steel ring, which is powder-coated or galvanized, as well as in office or hall walls.

Temperature controllers TR46 can control the 230 volt AC fans in the same way.

Air quality controllers can also be used to control the fans, often used in offices or stables.

If the fans have to work under high temperatures, it is recommended to use a thermal contact (bimetal switch) to prevent damage to the motor.

The normal voltage of the three-phase motor is 400 volts and 50 hertz. Voltages for the USA (480 volts and 60 hertz) and Canada (575 volts and 60 hertz) and special voltages (500 volts and 50 hertz) are also available if required.

Fans are also available in the full speed range. Transformer style speed controllers from our range are particularly suitable for control.

The 230 volt AC fans are of course also infinitely variable and electronically controllable by speed controllers. In addition to the air quality controllers and the temperature controllers, the control can also be taken over by CO2 controllers.

Frequency converters can be used for the control of the three-phase motors. If this is the case, please note that according to DIN-IEC/TS 60034-17, depending on the frequency converter, an all-pole sinusoidal filter must be integrated between the motor and the fan.

Stainless steel variants of the LD252 axial fan

Stainless steel fans in V2A (material number 1.4301 or AISI 304 or X5CrNi189) are preferably used in the food industry. Special stainless steel fans in V4A (material number 1.4571 or AISI 316 or X10CrNiMoTil810) are often used in very salty air.

For the food industry, the motors, which are produced from high-quality cast aluminum, can also be left raw or painted in food color. Also a production from special aluminum material is conceivable with regular acceptance.

Painting with a color resistant to salt water is possible for offshore applications.

Material of the LD252 axial fan

Impellers are made of high quality glass fiber reinforced plastic material, can be made of aluminum for high temperature applications.

A rectangular plate fan version is conceivable after consultation and a minimum order quantity.

The standard IP44 protection can be extended to IP54 or IP56.

The fans have a flexible design, which allows free choice of air direction when ordering.

The air direction can be reversed even after ordering, but the air performance loses 15% in this case, as the impellers guarantee optimum efficiency with the standard air direction due to the profiled blades.
No standard motors are used for the motors, but the motors are specially developed by Kaiser Ventilatorenbau and adapted to each axial fan. Thus, the motors carry the high thermal protection class F or H according to DIN EN 60085.
Type tests of bearing and installation temperature can be requested. Saltwater tests of the stainless steel fans in offshore applications are also available. An IPx6 moisture class test can also be shown.
The design of the fans is very energy efficient, they comply with the Ecodesign Directive ERP2015 (ErP Directive 2009/125/EC EU Regulation No. 327/2011) and carry the CE mark.
